The mission of the quarterly published by the Road and Bridge Research Institute is to disseminate contemporary scientific and technical achievements through the publication of scientific articles in order to support the development of road infrastructure and promote the creative role of the community of engineers and scientists active in the scientific discipline of "civil engineering, geodesy and transport". The quarterly publishes original scientific, scientific and technical works and studies covering the design, construction and maintenance of roads, airports, bridges, tunnels and other road infrastructure facilities. All articles published in the quarterly are available in "Open Access" mode on the journal's website without technical restrictions.

"Roads and Bridges - Drogi i Mosty" is an international, peer-reviewed journal. Published quarterly, the journal encompasses the field of road and bridge engineering. This covers all aspects of civil engineering and related engineering sciences. Published articles focus on design, construction, maintenance and safe use of roads, bridges, airports and other transportation structures. Authors who are not residents of Poland and submit an article in English are charged a fee of USD 300 to cover the cost of translating the work into Polish. However, there are no additional charges for article processing and publication. Review papers are published only on the invitation of the Editorial Board.
